About Me

Hi, I'm Stephanie Lindner, the artist behind Blue Lily Designs. I've had a love for crafts and creating things for as long as I can remember. My first memories of making jewelry were when was when I was in grade school. There was a nearby creek with clay mud, so my sister and I would walk down and collect baggies full of clay. At home we made clay beads, which we painted and strung into necklaces. We sold our jewelry from the driveway, however our mom was our best customer and boy did we charge her an arm and a leg to buy them from us!

Around 1995 I transitioned from the clay beads and taught myself wire wrapping. I made pieces on and off for several years until 2004 when I decided to make jewelry as gifts for my maids of honor. Since then jewelry making has become a passion where I'm constantly looking to improve and add to my skills.

When I'm not making jewelry and cards, I love snowboarding and being outdoors. My husband and I moved to Colorado Springs in the Summer of 2006 and love it! I can't think of a more perfect place to live.
