It's almost St. Patrick's Day and it's snowing in Colorado! I guess that isn't too unusual however I'm ready for some warmer days. :)
Robin Lynne featured me on her blog today! She has super cute and colorful things in her Etsy shop shop so I'm honored to be featured by her!
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, check out these fun GREEN earrings. I love how they swing and they are super light weight!!
In the near future I will be changing my blog to a different blog provider. I had to turn comments off for this one because it was getting too much spam. I'm hoping I will be able to turn them back on with the new blog! In the meantime you can always shoot me an email, I would love to hear from you!

I've been busy making a ton of new pieces! Several have been listed on my website however there are still several more to come!
I have been wanting to use these wood beads forever and I finally did. I love this bracelet! It's so comfy to wear and very light weight. The hand formed swirls I think add just a touch of fun and whimsy.

Amy Esther came across my work on a website called Indiepublic and decided to feature me on her blog. I couldn't be more thrilled or honored to have someone take the time to write about my work! Check out her blog entry on Blue Lily Designs here!
On another happy note, I returned from the Tucson Gemshow this past Sunday and came home with a ton of new goodies to create with! It was over whelming at first to see such a huge selection of stones and beads, however it was also a ton of fun. :) I can't wait to take a pic to show you my pile of new stuff!

Yea me, I've added several new pieces over the last couple of weeks. :) Bad me, I have not been writing in my blog. :( I hope you will forgive me and enjoy all the new stuff!!
I'm loving hoops right now, plain, with dangles, beaded... I love them all! Expect more to come and if there is a particular color you're interested in let me know. Hint, I have a pair of hoops with turquoise completed and awaiting photographs right now. ;)
I love the colors in this necklace... a bit of iolite, white pearls and light azore crystals. The light azore is one of my favorite Swarovski crystal colors!
I have several other new pieces as well! Check them out and let me know what you think!

Can you believe Christmas Eve is 3 weeks from today?! I finished the majority of my shopping before Thanksgiving but there are still a few things left to buy. If you haven't finished your shopping yet I would highly recommend shopping on http://www.etsy.com. There are so many wonderful artists on there! When you buy handmade you're helping someone live their dream and you get a product that's made with love, often better than what you can buy mass produced and more unique too!
Check out some of my favorite items and sellers on my Favorites page:

I recently bought this lip scrub from an Etsy seller and I love it!!!http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=8107540
Have fun shopping!!!

My Harbor Freight tumbler died earler this week. So sad. :( I know I was not overloading the barrels either and I certainly was not using it more than it's supposedly designed to be used. Hubby said the motor was just dying and couldn't keep up. Even with only one barrel loaded it was barely turning (and this is a double barrel tumbler). So... I ordered a Lortone tumbler, specifically the Lortone 33B. This tumbler should be of much higher quality so hopefully I don't have the same problem. Alas, I should have sprung for it in the first place, live and learn I guess! Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. :)
Being tumbler-less, last night I tried the good 'ol baking soda and aluminum foil trick for polishing my jewelry. Well, actually it's supposed to be washing soda, but I didn't have that on hand so I used baking soda. It worked pretty well, more so on some pieces than on others. Look for instructions in a future blog. Or, if you just can't wait send me a note and I'll tell ya the secret. ;) (Of course google will also tell you, but what fun is that?).
Enjoy your Thanksgiving! Hubby and I will be driving to Tucson tomorrow to be with my family. It will be a long drive, but I can't wait!!
